ACC Accredited Counselling

A little about me
and how I work

I am an accredited, registered counsellor working near Farnham, Surrey. I welcome people from many different backgrounds and recognise the value of every person regardless of race, cultural background, social status, gender or religion. My approach is non-judgemental and my aim is to help every client feel safe, listened to and valued.

If you simply want to talk through the things that trouble you, I can offer a safe place where you will be listened to and and your feelings heard. Sometimes it’s hard to put feelings into words, leaving you stuck and unsure about how to face the future. I’m here to listen.

Abuse comes in many forms; spiritual, physical, emotional, sexual or psychological. It may be in the past or in the present. I work slowly at the client’s own pace, encouraging them to feel in control - never rushed or pressurised. I am experienced in working with those affected by the loss of a loved one, stresses in the workplace, redundancy, retirement, chronic illness, domestic abuse, divorce, remarriage and the challenges faced by 'blended' families.
